In ancient mythology, the Chimera was creature comprised
of many different animal parts. Although many different versions
exist, the basic idea is the rear of a goat, front end of a lion,the head
of a goat in addition, and a viper for the tail. this creature was
one bad mother to mess with. Chimera is also the name for viruses
engineered by people by taking portions of viruses and mixing them together,
to create a "super virus" with the virulence of one virus, the easy transmitance
of the another, and the survivability of another. this allows for
lots of bad things.
