As we embark upon the 21st century, the world has become a very different place.  The few, giant world powers have fallen way to numerous small, agile competitors. The prospects of humane-ness have fallen to the wayside for the advancements of technology.  Humans are no longer the free creatures once believed to be, but slaves to the technology of their own creation.  Let this serve as a warning- the technology created to aid mankind could prove to be the end of its existence.
