PATHOS - Emotional Appeal
Pathos is the section of any argument that appeals to the audience.  Pathos appeals to the values, morals, and ideals of audience members so that the argument has a meaning deeper than mere discussion.  Joy appeals to his audience's deepest emotions by arguing that the very existance of humans is threatened.  The following links eplain Joy's main points and give an analysis for each point.
