In
the past, the most lethal weapons of mass destruction where nuclear, biological
and chemical weapons, now, as technology is advancing at uncontrollable leaps
and bounds, the deadliest threats to humanity could be unintentional and come
from research from genetic, nano and robotic technology. And the greatest danger
from these technologies is that it is apparent as more and more research is done
in these fields that it is much easier to create destructive uses for these
technologies than beneficial ones. At first it might appear that these two
subjects are unrelated, but with further analysis, it is apparent that the two
are related.
